Triumph Motorcycles (Spec Project)
When my friend got back from Army deployment, I wanted to give him something special — so we hit the streets of Ankeny with his Triumph and turned a welcome-home ride into a cinematic project. This wasn’t a perfectly planned, fully-geared shoot. I was visiting on vacation, short on time, and missing a lot of the equipment I’d normally bring for something like this. We also had the challenge of shooting in the city — not exactly the wide-open highways you usually see in motorcycle ads.

But that’s the beauty of it — working with what you’ve got, finding creative angles in real-world conditions, and still making it look sharp. Between the time crunch and the traffic, I had to think fast and adapt on the fly. In the end, we came away with something raw, real, and full of energy — exactly what that ride meant to him.
